Born
in in
1935, in Flanders,
he came to Canada in 1954 at the age of nineteen to visit his
sister in Montreal after the death of his father and he
has lived in Quebec ever since.
Gaston Rebry's strength lies in his total commitment to nature
that he so successfully conveys in his paintings.
His work is shown across
the country and is part of prestigious collections such as the
Vatican's and that of former Prime Minister Jean Chretien. |
