Stéphanie Rivet was born in Montreal in 1972. From an early age, Stéphanie became interested in painting and the arts which is a way for her to express her vision of reality. After studying math at the University of Québec, she completed her Bachelor's degree in art.

Even though animals are omnipresent in her work, Stephanie is inspired by the natural forces of nature. Movement, spontaneity and strong colors are qualities particular to this artist’s work. 

In her world, animals live in a fanciful nature, where abstraction and figuration co-exist in harmony. The colours and transparency effects evoke the dream and bring her paintings a playful charm.
